Must-Haves:
- • 4-year degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s minimum)
- • 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
- • Proficiency in CAD, Revit (BIM), and structural analysis software
- • Experience with low- to mid-rise buildings
- • Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week
- • Open to a daily commute of up to 1 hour

About the Opportunity:
A respected and growing engineering firm with a team of 13 professionals is seeking a Staff Engineer with strong experience in building design and Revit modeling. Known as a regional competitor, the firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with long-term development opportunities and a notably low cost of living in the area. This is a fully on-site position with exposure to a variety of structural project types.
Responsibilities:
- • Lead structural analysis and design for low- to mid-rise commercial, institutional, residential, and light-industrial buildings
- • Produce and model construction documents using Revit (BIM) and CAD
- • Interface Revit models with engineering software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer)
- • Coordinate with other disciplines and manage design/modeling changes
- • Adhere to company BIM standards and development protocols
- • Communicate directly with clients during all phases of design and construction
- • Participate in site visits and support construction coordination as needed
Additional Role Details:
- • Responsible for all aspects of structural engineering design under the guidance of a firm principal
- • Follow company standards for BIM content and development procedures
• Interact with clients and contractors throughout design and construction
