Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime Available, Voluntary)
Must-Haves:
- • Minimum 5 years of diesel truck general repair experience
- • Own complete set of mechanic’s tools (roll-away cabinet + portable tool cart)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
- • Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical, air, hydraulic systems, and general repairs)
- • Ability to arrive on time consistently and work independently or on a team

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Truck General Repair Mechanic with 5+ years of experience. The role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing light to medium-duty trucks and trailers. Prior hands-on experience with brands like Ford, International, Freightliner, Peterbilt, KW, or General Motors is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Diagnose issues such as smoking engines, electrical faults, or clutch failures
- • Perform preventive maintenance: lube, oil, filter changes, brake inspections, etc.
- • Inspect systems: brakes, steering, bearings, electrical, etc.
- • Conduct circuit tests on electrical, air, and hydraulic systems
- • Accurately communicate parts needed for repairs to the Parts Department
- • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures
- • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs efficiently
- • Adapt to changing priorities as directed by the supervisor
Ideal Candidate Has:
- • Background in private truck shops or service yards
- • Experience with heavy-duty brands (Ford, Freightliner, Peterbilt, etc.)
- • Ability to R&R components like bearings, air compressors, oil pans, etc.
- • Strong attendance record and self-starting attitude
