Must-Have Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field
- • MT-2 experience
- • 5+ years of hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) engineering experience
- • Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS
- • Experience with FEMA LOMR/MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater management design
- • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- • Project management experience and a desire to mentor junior engineers
- • PE license preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems
- • Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning
- • Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins
- • Lead FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation
- • Collaborate across disciplines, with clients and agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance
- • Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects
- • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results
